Blue Thalassarche melanophris handmade wool socks

In the days of authentic fishers, the sighting of northern gannets on the high seas was a source of happiness for the sailors. Their presence meant food in the area, the much sought-after sardine.
The conditions the sailors faced required warm clothing to help them get through the cold nights. These clothes were made with all the love and care by the women who were back home, eagerly awaiting their return.
For hundreds of years, fishermen have used these socks, and we continue to make them according to the same millenary tradition.
