Picnic Basket + Towel Apus apus
The common swift is a bird that comes and goes, and it's in the Portuguese territory between March and October – which coincides with the hottest season. At this time of the year, it can be seen flying over the skies in medium and large families.
Like us, it is also in this period when the nice weather encourages discovering new paths and natural places to enjoy. We rediscovered that outside there are several large trees that can provide shade for a lovely picnic.
Inspired by this animal and all the good memories, ideas, and feelings that summer brings us, we created the Apus apus Picnic Basket.
Entirely handmade, with wicker, in the North of Portugal. It results from a traditional technique with a long and vast history that comes from Portuguese artisans, who learned the same art from their ancestors, which we want to help preserve.
Lined with a map full of messages, it has the ideal size to carry happiness and bring back good memories.
Accompanying the basket is a cotton towel that will serve as a base for the picnic

How to care
The picnic basket's characteristics, including the straw's color and size, may vary slightly from piece to piece, as they are made from natural fibers, individually and manually by artisans, giving each one a unique essence.
To clean it, you can use a damp cloth.
