Handmade from rye straw, it results from a technique with a long and rich history in Minho, a historic province in the northern region of Portugal. Once used to protect almost every head from the sun, it was also a fashion symbol and gradually fell out of use... but we don't want to forget traditions, especially when they still make perfect sense. How to care

Hat features, including straw color and brim width, may vary slightly from piece to piece because they are made from natural fibers and individually handcrafted by artisans, giving each a unique character. Time can change its shape, but simply steam with water and work with your hands to restore the original shape.
